Now closed, this dance school was run by Prodigy’s grandmother Bernice Johnson. Jay-Z famously revealed that Prodigy used to dance ballet by putting up a picture of him as a child in ballet gear (see picture at left) at Summer Jam in 2001
Jay showed the picture to embarrass Prodigy, but the school was actually a really positive force in the community, and Prodigy was a great dancer. I mean, uh — what a fuckin' pussy!
