Master P and Silkk The Shocker grew up in this rough-and-tumble low-rise housing project in Central City New Orleans. Calliope, officially called the B. W. Cooper Apartments, was known nationwide as one of the most violent projects in America, along with the nearby Magnolia Projects

The Cooper Apartments are slated to be demolished, but have not been yet (we hear there are vacancies!)
