Giants Stadium (and now the new MetLife Stadium) has been the site of Hot 97’s Summer Jam mega-concert since its inception in 1994. It started out with more of a focus on East Coast rappers, but now features the top names in rap worldwide. Still, Jay-Z is the King of Summer Jam, having premiered “Death of Autotune” there in 2009 and famously sonned Mobb Deep’s Prodigy at the 2001 concert
