Holly Grove is Lil Wayne’s neighborhood, a tough area where Wayne grew up in the middle of the violent drug scene. The neighborhood was heavily flooded during Hurricane Katrina when the 17th Street Canal Levee failed, so Wayne now often refers to it as “The Water”
