Though now closed indefinitely, Tavern on the Green (a restaurant in Central Park) was for years a mecca for relatively well-heeled tourists — and hence a good place to rob a bitch. In the 80s, in a scene straight out of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game, gang members would sometimes scale the walls of the restaurant and mug patrons dining on the patio
