Through all of life’s perils and riches, you are the only one who is there for every single second of it. These final words utter a very 2Pac-esque message for the listener:

Chano takes win after win in the fashion department!

Hat: Chance is a White Sox fan, but the snapback he is donning for his performance is of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team belonging to the city he now calls his home. All black with the logo in white, it reminds us of another rising rapper. If you wanna get one for yourself, just click here.

Pants: Even though he has brought us Chance Pants, his signature really is the overalls. He seems to wear them at almost every concert nowadays. Sadly, the brand remains a mystery.

Shoes: These kicks were designed by Brandon Breaux, who also designed the shirt Chance wore on the Acid Rap cover. They are inspired by map’s topography accented with some sleek orange. If you wanna cop them, just click here!

Looks like his angels saw him but never stayed there in his time of need. His demons and the Devil himself finally got to him and he just wants to be one with God, (hence “all reasons to just fly away”).

In relation to the music industry and the people making the “noise”, it shows that an artist like Dally who goes through life’s struggles and pain can barely make it by while others who are undeserving can keep living their “dream”.

It’s common to ask the Lord for help. He’s just hoping his message gets to be broadcast out to all of his people, they need to hear the real noise. Crying out to God is not new to Dally’s familia. This is just the life they chose.

Fun Fact: Looks like he heard him:

While the music industry is meant to be pure, many people are in it for the fancy life, and their music shows it. Eventually they don’t want it but they can no longer escape it, a very “all that glitters is not gold” feeling.

While this can mean they don’t have these things because they no longer want them, it can also mean where are these things now that they have the life. They may have been devoted and nothing showed up, hence when they talk about money they are just making noyce.

Dally is currently in a battle with his inner demons, and he just hopes the angels and God, (precious or white light), can help him in his true time of need. Even though Dally has sinned, God forgives and the devil is a liar.

This seen is from an old movie called The Wood, conveniently sharing the same name as Dally’s tape. Three friends reminisce on old times as children, with this being one of them:

The beat was taken from the Marvin Gaye track “Mandota”. Considering Mr. Gaye isn’t alive, SZA had to clear her use of this instrumental through his estate, and they happily agreed. She also hinted that some slight reverb was also added to the track.

Dally has always been a real OG man since day one, as he talked about on “One Two”. As he said in an interview, even though he didn’t rap until ‘09 and drop a project until 2013:

When I talk about being a man “in ’02,” it’s about what you go through to become who you are. I like the listener to apply it to their lives however they can. Because when I’m writing it, I know what it means to me, but it may do something else for you. I started rapping my junior year, in 2009.. But even saying ’02, it’s about understanding yourself as a person. Whoever I was when I was 13, it was me. I think ’02 was just a turning point, but same with ’03, ’04.

As Dally says, even though times change, you got to remember:

This snippet is taken from Kanye West and Sway’s interview on his radio show, when it’s safe to say Kanye got a little passionate.

Much like Tokyo, him and Kanye are more of an abstract and unique kind of artist with their body of work. He is often misunderstood by most, as Kanye is. Note that Kanye is married to Kim Kardashian, and legally related to the rest of the family that Tokyo mentions.
