In Greek mythology, Titans fought the Titanomachy against the Olympian Gods, in which the leader of the Titans, Cronus killed the god Uranus. Basically, they’re a bunch of badass motherfuckers. And KRIT is no less.

More tales of the good life; now that KRIT’s finally got the motivation to get out of bed-thanks to some great room service-he’s greeted by the tantalizing sight of his girl dressed rather provocatively.

Who gon' stop him now?

KRIT has worked hard to get to the position he’s in, so he wants to take it easy now, just as one would want to at the end of a hard, long week. But Krizzle’s in so comfortable a position, he can afford to treat every day as a weekend, and just lay in bed. Plus he’s got a fine girl in bed with him, just to make things that much better.

What a life!

Listeners often accuse a rapper of selling out when they rap about what is assumed to be “mainstream” topics, such as money, women and cars. But KRIT flips the script here and asks these accusers a simple question: didn’t we all dream of having these luxuries at some point in our lives? Why is it that when a rapper celebrates these things, it is seen as “selling out”?

KRIT knows he has to stay focused and continue putting out dope music if he wants to be successful in music; he needs to stay in control i.e. keep his hands on the wheel
KRIT also slurs (re)laxing to sound like ‘lacs, hence using some wordplay to imply that he’s in the driver seat with his music.

Album is dope as hell. The concepts work together so well and the multisyllabic rhymes is on point as always. Also love how the PTSD themes tie into the issues of depression and anxiety
