Taylor Swift is so omnipresent in popular culture that she’s now entered the Drake-Kendrick feud. Last night via Instagram, Drake fired another shot at Kendrick Lamar in the form of “Taylor Made Freestyle,” a song that references Swift and uses AI representations of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg—plus Drizzy’s own voice—to level disses at Lamar. “Taylor Made” debuted just outside the Top 30 of the Genius Top Songs chart, which is understandable, since Swift has been dominating the first 31 slots with her new album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
In the first verse, the AI 2Pac encourages Kendrick to clap back at Drake and insinuates that his silence is a sign of weakness. He also suggests Lamar didn’t respond yesterday because of Swift’s album release and all the publicity it was sure to draw.

Now you ’bout to give this shit another week?
And fall back to home girl who runnin’ numbers up? I woulda refused
The fake Snoop does likewise in the second verse, clowning Kendrick for sitting on the sidelines.

Drake raps the third verse in his regular voice and jokes that Swift is now basically acting like Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, head of Kendrick’s old label, TDE, and calling all the shots for the West Coast rapper.

And lest any Swifties get upset about their girl’s inclusion in this song, Drake makes it clear in the outro that he’s got nothing but respect for Taylor.
