About Absolut-P

North Omaha Native, Absolut-P, has been quietly producing, shaping and shifting the Hip-Hop sound for the Midwest. Stevin-Charles Taylor, better known as Absolut-P is a American recording artist, producer and audio engineer. Born in Nebraska, he currently is the head engineer at The Lab Recording Studios, founded by Lewade Milliner. Over the years his notoriety has grown significantly as a producer working with all the local talent his city has to offer. In 2012 via a Twitter DM, he linked up with female rapper Sasha Go Hard and together they blessed the internet with an array of mixtapes and viral singles including the singles “Why They Mad” and “Pretty Fly”

In 2016, Absolut-P linked up with SK8 and Rarri Vuitton respectfully bringing his production style to there records. He currently has a self produced project out now titled “402-402-4024” that features the eclectic style his fans have come to expect woven into tracks like the hit single “Nothing” featuring Chicago’s rising star, Lil Bibby.

VEXED, a 5 track EP is a hazy and confident experimentation with a minimalist construction that places value more on texture rather than tone. “Pixelated P-Poppin” is the best example of that experimentation — His cool and collected aura mixed with his brash and appalling of sorts voices makes it intriguing what he is doing with music. Absolut-P is currently about to release three projects and his debut independent album this year. ~ Devon Jefferson
