I witnessed the child abuse that causes children to develop into depressed teens and men like Shawn “JayZ” Carter, Tupac Shakur, Kendrick Lamar and Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Michael Carter, Jr. to name a few damaged people.
I witnessed the fear, emotional and physical pain suffered by victims of child abuse who mature into depressed, angry, frustrated teens and adults lacking compassion and empathy.
In his “Dear Mama” rap Tupac points his finger at who failed him and caused him to wake up in the morning contemplating suicide.
