At just 19 years old, Nashville native rapper UU is set to take the industry by storm with his unique sound. Originally born Uylus Johnson Jr., UU has achieved a lot in the year 2019; he finished the year off with over 3,000,000 streams on all platforms. He collaborated with meme superstar Dbangz and hardcore lyricist J.Norm on his biggest single to date; I.D.G.A.F. In the same year, UU released his debut album U NEVER KNEW ME, which included features from Chris Brown, Pnb Chizz, & frequent collaborator; Dequantis. At the end of 2019, UU released his most popular solo single, G.O.A.T, which really set a new tone for his brand and approach to music. His style closely resembles the quick-witty punchlines and vocal techniques as Travis Scott and Drake, while adding hints of catchy love songs here and there that’ll give you a T-Pain and Juice WRLD kind of feel. UU’s goal is to promote comfortability with yourself and what you stand for, “No one should have to say things or be a certain way just to be accepted. Be yourself and you’ll really see who’s for you.” With the rise of his local awareness in his city, he knows that this is only just the beginning, and he has a lot in store for those who plan to listen.

In 2018; UU finished the year off with over 500,000 streams. He collaborated with meme superstar DBangz for the first time on his extremely intense EP I’m Goin' Innn!, Vol. 1. This was also the year that UU removed most of his music from all platforms except SoundCloud, and only left up a few songs such as 20 Racks and Bread Up. He also released a couple of big singles; More Than Friends, Up Next, and his controversially successful single Fan Of Myself (Problems).
