Contra $aturn (born as Ke’shawn James) is an artist and record producer based out of DeLand, FL. Contra $aturn represents a wide range of rap/hip-hop and is quickly becoming one of Central Florida’s well known skilled and versatile artists today. Active since 2013, Contra $aturn has effectively and creatively made a name for himself and his music. Since becoming active, Contra $aturn has had over 50 shows and has performed across the country to include Los Angeles (CA), New York (NY), Austin (TX), Atlanta (GA), and various cities across the state of Florida. Contra $aturn has also won and been nominated for various awards and contests, including being the winner of the 2015 Central Florida’s Got Talent and Los Angeles’ Sellassie’s 95th Rap Contest. Contra $aturn has also been interviewed on various radio and news outlets, including the famous rap blog Underground Hip Hop Blog (UGHH). Along with being an artist, Contra $aturn has produced, mixed and mastered for over 100 different artists, leaving his presence across the internet to amass over 500,000 plays.
