This is a metaphor and double entendre. His raps move inside the grooves* of a record. If you look at a physical record, you’ll notice there isn’t much space between the grooves, and yet he flows with finesse in such tight spaces.
*Grooves can refer to the tempo or “feel” of a record, or to the physical grooves on an actual record.
Should have picture added at the end. Here is link.
Could also mean the stuff he’s saying is way over the head of the average listener, i.e. someone not familiar with graphing jargon.
Should be ‘unprecedented,’ meaning his raps are original. I also think it means, even without herbs (weed), his raps will be great, sick, ill etc.
Is there ever a good time for a guy to pee on himself?
Sick metaphor in the beginning. A brush fire is a relatively minor crisis in terms of fires, but a five alarm is a huge crisis, with the five referring the number of fire stations that had to fight the fire.
Also, KickKnowledge makes no sense.
Also some sick word play with “constant”; you might notice it’s near the middle of every line. Plus alliteration with the letter “c”. Content, constant, combat, concepts, etc.
Not sure how to answer to your pm but via here. The syllables match up for sure, but some of the rhymes are just too far off. Do you know for a fact that he tried to do this? Just curious.
You’re way off. When he sees his friends rapping, he’s tempted to start doing the same once again, despite serving a sentence in hell for doing so. The evidence is in the hook. It’s a nasty metaphor, though, right?
Dude, I have no idea how you came to that conclusion, but you’re way off. He’s playing off his infatuation with “murder,” which is a metaphor for killing tracks. He was sent to hell for “murdering instruments”.. Ever since, he’s been trying to abstain, but he gets tense when he sees others making hits — it makes him want to get back to “murdering tracks.”
I don’t know who put up the lyrics for most of O.C.’s songs, bt they’re absolutely atrocious. I’ll be workin' on them this weekend for sure.
