While you are in club partying and trying to pick up chicks, the Madd Rapper is there looking for his next robbery victim. It cost big money to get in some clubs. He is looking to recoup that cost.

Because he is broke, he isn’t getting good looking women (AKA tens or dimes). He hangs with a rougher type of woman. 5’s or 6’s on a scale of 1 to 10. They may have a scar or two also.

Back in 1996, Robby Alomar who was playing for the Baltimore Orioles at the time got so pissed about being called out on strikes that spit in an umpires face.

Back then, you never saw D without his glasses because….well he couldn’t really see without them.

His large black framed glasses would become his trademark.

Nowadays he goes without glasses. One would assume he either had Lasik or wears contacts.

D’s drink of choice was a 40oz of Olde English 800

D drank very heavily during his heyday to a point he had to be hospitalized for alcoholic pancreatitis. He reportedly drank as much as eight 40-ounce bottles of malt liquor a day for years.

This track is written from the perspective of a gangsta rapper (or a satirical version of one) who is more concerned with how he can make money regardless of the consequences. He pushes ignorant stereotypical images of blacks including pushing/being a spokesman for a malt liquor company.

In the line “To those stories, those rhymes, that Jew” I thought he actually say “that Jude” a reference to the DJ Rude Jude from the Shade 45 satellite radio station.

"Got a 6 pack on the low now I'm sunk in" (Lupe Fiasco – Champ Is Here (Freestyle)) | pending

I thought he meant a 6 like the BMW 6 Series. He refers to driving in the next line.
