About Kingsley Q

Merging pop and R&B elements with diverse genres such as urban-electronic, house and afro, the German-Ghanaian artist Kingsley Q crafts a distinctive sound that is uniquely his own.
At the age of fifteen he completed a singing education at the “Academy“ – stage school and performing arts. Ever since then Kingsley took the stage by storm! His expressive and unique voice has been sought after, with experience as a backing vocalist for notable musicians including songstresses Leony & Ivy Quainoo. With his unique sound he created a new interpretation of the song “Happy“ (Berlin Dance Edition) by Pharrell Williams and achieved more than 1.5 million views on Youtube.
Kingsley is receiving airplay on national radio in Germany (including stations such as Fritz Radio, Big FM, Flux FM, Peli One Radio, Absolut Radio).
He also won his first music award at the BMC Listen to Berlin Awards 2018 in the category “public choice“.
Kingsley also performed as a support act for various artists, such as soul singer Nneka, Ady Suleiman, JP Cooper in multiple German cities, Ruel, MAX, Kara Marni, JC Stewart, comedian Khalid Bounouar as well as for MiC LOWRY & the Grammy-nominated ensemble Tank and The Bangas.
His 2020 collaboration “There Is No Wonderwall“ with Sylow & Pierre Leck got featured on Spotify’s Editorial Playlist «Electro Chill» and already hit over 14 million streams.
His projects also include his debut EP “I Am Here” produced by KAYROB (Sarah Connor) and collaborations with a diverse collection of artists including KHEMIS, Robin Knaak, Blactro and R.A.H.
Currently, he is pouring his creative energy into his second EP, with “Waves” not only marking his first single of the year, but also scoring his first ever editorial playlist cover on Tidal’s «Rising Germany» Playlist.
