About EDUBB

Hailing from Decatur, GA: the Hip-Hop Trio, known for their most famous trademarked Viral anthem Whooty (mentioned on TMZ & over 10 million views), and raucous Down-South and Atlanta club favorite “Rain Boots” ( & A Thong). Credited for bringing back uptempo party “bass” music in Atlanta during a time when “Swag” and “Trap” music where most popular, while working with Collipark Music & the Package Store (John Boy “On Da Track”). WHOOTY became a huge Youtube Viral Hit, and enjoyed Rhythmic & Pop Radio play nationwide. This word WHOOTY (White Girl With a Booty) has since become a slang in pop culture, and continues to be used today. EDUBB’s follow up to WHOOTY, was the Strip club and dance club Atlanta Favorite “Rain Boots”. First received its break in Magic City and various strip clubs around Atlanta, as EDUBB toured in promotion of the song. It eventually made it into the hands, of radio personality J Nicks of Hot 1079, and he invited EDUBB on air to premier it on radio. From here, “Rain Boots” received mix-show and air-play mostly in the south-east regions, which led EDUBB to tour, and be featured on Radio station Summer Jams and concerts.

EDUBB’s musical stylings are deeply rooted in their Musical family tree, which consist of Atlanta Hip-Hop Royalty. Nem of EDUBB, is cousin to Royal C of the Legendary Atlanta Gangsta Rap Group “The Hard Boys.” Mr. Johnny and DoLLA were next door neighbors to NEM, and began free-styling and writing rhymes, after watching Royal C & the Hard Boys work on songs, and eventually started rapping in their first cyphers with the Hard Boys and a young rapper named, Kaine who went on the be International superstars, the Ying Yang Twins. EDUBB were the youngest of the bunch, merely children at the time, hanging out and picking up Rap technique by watching these artists work. Also, connected to EDUBB’s musical family tree are Atlanta, TRAP Music creators, A-DAM-SHAME. EDUBB would be mentored by WEST 10 Productions, the production team behind the group A-DAM-SHAME.

EDUBB made Hip-Hop History by being the first and only artists to collaborate and feature “once-beefing” artists Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs N Harmony & Lord Infamous of Three 6 Mafia, prior to Lord Infamous’s untimely passing. The two featured on EDUBB’s song “My Senorita” which also featured local rapper Slim Dynamiite. This song was released posthumously, however, Lord Infamous was able to hear Layzie Bone’s verse prior to his passing, as Mighty DOLLA of EDUBB, orchestrated the two legendary artists on the song.

If you have not heard of EDUBB, a trio of Atlanta GA, is taking over the underground with their risqué brand of Party Anthems. Almighty Dolla, Johnny BOI and Nem make up the group and each bring their own unique style to the group. They have a distinctive Southern Hip-Hop drawl blended with Pop, R&B, and Rock they are calling Hip-Hop fusion; EDUBB is quickly making their name blow up in a major way. Their popular underground “Whooty” aka “White Girl With a Booty” which has gained over 8 million views on YouTube, branding the term “Whooty” into Pop Culture Slang terminology. Officially sponsored by Jagermeister EDUBB is flaunting their business sense. Preparing to launch an online Merchandising store, Whootyshop.com, and making reality show pitches to networks and developing a magazine to show the world their hard work. Although they are not signed to a major label EDUBB has received airplay on MTV, Music Choice, Sirius and XM Satellite radio, VH1, along with as many of the major Top 40 R&B and Hip Hop Stations across the United States.

The Atlanta natives have an extreme following in hometown clubs with the surprisingly amusing underground Club Hit “Rain Boots and a Thong”. This single is well on its way to gaining just as much acclaim as “Whooty” before it. They are releasing their first full length conceptual LP. The project will include features from Pastor Troy, T-Mo Goodie (Goodie Mob), and Jackie Chain. Now in constant rotation on MTV Jams “Booty” Video Mix and cracking the top 100 ITunes Video Chart, “Whooty” has become a movement. Do not confuse EDUBB for a novelty rap group or “one hit wonders” they are here to stay striving to be hip hop’s Rolling Stones. EDUBB has been compared to the ever eccentric group “The 2 Live Crew” and even ATLiens Outkast. Look for the first European Tour “Whooty 2012 Tour” where they will be traveling throughout Germany in July, as well as touring the southeastern region of the U.S. for their “Legends of The Fall” tour.
