Self-made soulster Ojerime is the new force in contemporary R&B. The south London native is giving this nineties staple a millennial revamp. Ambient electro is interlaced with Hip-Hop and seasoned with old school swing beat to create a niche palette. Atop, her melodic vocals are delivered with a South London twang that lends this sound to the rhythm of Black British femalehood. In 2018 she released her third EP 4U; an experimental blend of beats, cadence and instrumentation across the spectrum of avant-garde R&B and electro. Her latest project is a 10 track mixtape entitled ‘Before I Breakdown’ released in March 2020.
