When looking at his mother, Reach can see his grandfather in her, because of their similar eyes. Also, he hopes that someday, his mother and grandfather will meet again in heaven.

The “sun arrives” part can be symbolic of the light associated with heaven, and the arrival of God’s son Jesus, who is to be bringing believers of God with him to heaven.

The way that Reach’s grandfather used to reel in the attention of he and his family is the same way a fisherman reels in all their fish.

Great patience and dedication are usually key to catching fish and being a good role model to family members.

Playing off of the previous high metaphor, J.R. Writer states that he above other rappers to the point where they could look in the sky and see him.

J.R. Writer could be referring to two things when he says he is high:

That his position in the rap game is so elevated, he could be a pilot, because pilots are known for elevating to great heights when flying planes.

Or, that he is so high from smoking weed, that his high can be compared to the thousands of feet reached by a licensed pilot.

Having years of experience, J.R. Writer feels like he is an elite rapper and is ahead of everyone else.

Other rappers are so far behind that J.R. Writer makes a comparison between his lead in the rap game to the speed of a person fleeing with a gun in the trunk of their car.

Whether he means he is racing after committing a crime, or speeding because he does not want to get caught with the gun, possession of an illegal handgun is serious. Especially, in New York, possession charges come with a hefty penalty.
