If there’s one main theme to Pusha T’s incredible life story, it’s perseverance. After the breakup of his massively popular hip-hop duo Clipse, which he formed in the ’90s with his brother No Malice, the Virginia Beach struck out on a solo career that’s proved wildly successful. Last year, after more than two decades in the game, the immensely talented wordsmith scored his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with It’s Almost Dry.
In partnership with Tres Generaciones Tequila, we asked Pusha to curate a playlist of his favorite perseverance anthems. Pusha supplied us with nothing but top-shelf inspirational jams, including Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares,” Lil Baby’s “Freestyle,” and Ms. Lauryn Hill’s “Every Ghetto, Every City.” Check out the full playlist below.
