The indie-rock supergroup boygenius returns today with the rest, the follow-up to their rapturously received debut album, the record, which dropped back in March. The EP features four new tracks, all of which the trio of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker have performed live.
Bridgers, Dacus, and Baker produced the EP with assistance from Tony Berg, Jake Finch, Ethan Gruska, Calvin Lauber, Collin Pastore, and Marshall Vore.
“We veered away from our folkier roots on the record in a way that was fun to come back to for the EP,” Bridgers recently told Grammy.com, explaining the sound of this latest collection.
