‘The Daily Show’ Drops “Black Trump” Rap Video Using Actual Donald Trump Quotes

‘The Daily Show’ clowns The Don

If this whole Leader of the Free World thing doesn’t work out for Donald Trump, he might have a future career in hip-hop.

Last night, The Daily Show imagined The Donald as a rapper in a sketch called “Black Trump,” in which the presidential candidate’s most ridiculous quotables were put to a trap beat in a music video.

Correspondent Roy Wood Jr. plays Trump in the clip for an imagined song called “They Love Me,” which includes ridiculous lyrics culled from tweets, interviews, and speaking engagements. He raps head-scratchers like, “Mexico is not our friend / Build the wall, I love the Mexicans” and “I have a great relationship with the Blacks.”

“Trump doesn’t belong in the White House—Donald Trump belongs in a rap video,” says Wood. “Everything Trump says is straight out of a rapper’s play book. He brags about his money, he’s disrespectful to women, and there’s always fights at his concerts.”
