The Chronicles of an Over-Ambitious Fat-Boy Tracklist
The Chronicles of an Over-Ambitious Fat-Boy is A-natural’s first full length R&B album following on the heels of his last EP entitled I Write Songs Now, Vol 1. Chronicles is an opus to the life and trials of the atypical R&B singer who’s trying to fit in and function in a world of hyper-masculine testosterone driven fantasy artists.
A-natural began this project in 2016 with the first song written being “Blonde Hair” which sums up the main idea of the project: “…Be who you are inside, outside just reveals.” However, the first official single from the project was the gospel-infused “Get Back”, whose culturally diverse music video helped imprint the record in listeners ears all over the country.
Chronicles was produced solely by A-natural save for the anthemic “Strange Love” which was produced by noted producer Vertical Jones. Songstresses Ali Caldwell (The Voice) and Natalie Imani (John legend, Jazmine Sullivan) feature on the album, as does world renowned guitarist Jules Drucker.
Chronicles will be released on June 30, 2017 in both explicit and clean versions, a first for an A-natural release, under his Natural City Music imprint.
