butterFLY

butterFLY is the second studio album by the Korean-American singer-songwriter Ailee. The album shows a mysterious feeling that is different from the color that Ailee has shown in the past.

Butterfly is a metaphorical representation of the free energy that comes out of the butterfly’s flapping wings, and Ailee’s delicate expression and groovy sense of freedom freely melts to reveal more musical colors.

Ailee helped in the songs productions and compositions. The title track “Room Shaker” blends an exploding but groovy beat with a charming hook.

Ailee says:

It’s a sophisticated hip-hop style genre that I have never tried.

The album also features EXO’s CHEN on the song “LOVE”, which was sung by both on Ailee’s showcase.
