Bikini Kill uses a childlike rhetoric throughout their music, especially in this album. Kathleen Hanna would often perform dressed in a way that implied certain levels of childhood and the songs mimic that feeling. ‘Revolution Girl Style Now!’ is a call to revolution for women and reclamation of girlhood and womanhood.
