Year of the Black Rainbow

2010’s Year of the Black Rainbow is intended as the earliest chronological point in the ongoing storyline throughout Coheed and Cambria’s Amory Wars series of albums.

The story of the album covers how serial antagonist Wilhelm Ryan came to power through killing or abducting his fellow mages, and how a civilian known as Dr Leonard Hohenberger creates Cambria, Coheed and Jesse as a response to Wilhelm Ryan’s rule, leading up to the events that caused Coheed and Cambria’s minds to be erased.
