7 is French DJ/producer David Guetta’s seventh studio album and his first in four years, following 2014’s Listen. The album includes features from some of the biggest names in music, such as Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, and long-time collaborator Sia to name a few.
The album also features installments from Guetta’s underground DJ alias, Jack Back.

What has David Guetta said about the album?
In an interview for Pete Tong’s programme on BBC Radio 1, Guetta explains how 7 fades away from the mainstream music he’s used to play:
’7′ represents a full cycle to me and that’s why I wanted to go back to the beginning of the cycle. I originally started in underground house music, playing all the raves and underground clubs in Paris. I wanted to make music just for fun, with absolutely no commercial approach to it. I want to make every type of music that I like, I’m doing it for the love of music.
