Ready, Steady, Go!

Ready, Steady, Go! is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Drake Bell, released on April 22, 2014, via Surfdog Records. The album marked his first release on a new label, and features a mix of a rockabilly sound infused with pop-rock.

The album features a total of four original songs: “Bitchcraft” featuring Brian Setzer, “Melina,” “Give Me a Little More Time” and a new version of “Makes Me Happy.” “Makes Me Happy” was a song that appeared on It’s Only Time (2006).

The rest of the album features covers of 60’s, 70s
and 80’s classics, such as “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” originally recorded by Queen in 1979, as well as “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” by Billy Joel in 1980, and “Back of My Hand” by The Jags in 1979.
