As you know it took me a while to make this record. At first I didn’t even know I was making an album. Was kind of just making songs here and there whenever I wanted to. Then I started the never ending fucking tour as you all know. Made some songs in hotels here and there. I feel like being on the road so much was inspiring for me this time. Time goes on, and I find myself in lake arrowhead with @apobington and @prod.mangetsu finishing the writing. We did the most work on the album up there over a 2 week span. I left lake arrowhead, think I went back on tour and when I was back in LA me and @apobington sat down in his studio at his house and finished it. Being honest, by then I had fallen out of love with the record. Maybe I heard it too many times, maybe I changed, I do not know. As I started releasing the singles the love slowly started coming back. All of you helped me with that (love you)
But something changed in me last night at that house show I threw. I’ve always been pretty insecure and doubtful about my music (and everything else) but that show, even though it was small, really made me realize that I have you guys, and that I’m not alone and that we are gonna be fucking huge. I’m really excited for this year and you should be to. Hope you love the album. Love you all.
