About “I Don’t Need Love”

I Don’t Need Love is the third mixtape by rapper/producer Evidence. Released on December 10, 2010, the mixtape was entirely produced by Twiz the Beat Pro, sampling exclusively from The Beatles‘ catalog. The mixtape was released as an accidental leak, as Evidence initially planned to release the song of the same name as a single for his Cats & Dogs album. Evidence explained in an interview with Conspiracy World Radio that he was unsure how the project would come out due to the possible sample clearances.

The mixtape consists of 9 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Rakaa, Oh No, The Alchemist (performing with Evidence as Step Brothers) and Fashawn.
