The debut album of the Houston-based rap group Geto Boys, originally spelled “Ghetto Boys,” ended up being the last appearance for founding members Sire Jukebox and Prince Johnny C. After the album’s release, Rap-A-Lot CEO James Prince added Scarface and Willie D to join Little Billy, the dancer who later came to be known as Bushwick Bill, and DJ Ready Red as the new Geto Boys. Ready Red would eventually leave the group during the recording of their 1991 album, We Can’t Be Stopped.
Making Trouble received little attention, and is often forgotten in the midst of the group’s later, more controversial albums.
Insane Clown Posse covered the track “Assassins” ten years later on their 1999 album, The Amazing Jeckel Brothers.
