Gorillaz

The breakout album for the world’s most successful virtual band, the self titled Gorillaz was the start to the highly successful pet project created by Blur frontman Damon Albarn and visual artist Jamie Hewlett.

The album, reaching the #3 spot in the UK and #14 in America, was an unexpected hit. The first single, Clint Eastwood peaked at #4 in the UK and #57 in the US, and has since been put on magazine NME’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

The album blends many genres, including rock, hip hop, reggae, and punk, making it a very accessible album for many music enthusiasts.
