Island Life

Island Life is Grace Jones' first greatest hits album. Released in December 1985 via Island Records, it was issued shortly after her comeback album, Slave to the Rhythm, became an unexpected commercial success. The album focuses mainly on tracks from her so-called Compass Point trilogy–Warm Leatherette, Nightclubbing and Living My Life–while also featuring three of her ‘70s disco tracks and the hit “Slave to the Rhythm.”
