GWAR’s first fan club cassette, The Art of War features studio outtakes and demos that were recorded between 1994 and 1996. The final track is the extended version of “The Private Pain of Techno Destructo” that was originally intended for Carnival of Chaos, but the bridge had to be removed due to copyright issues. On the original cassette, the song ends prematurely due to the limited cassette space, though the bridge is fully intact.
The first three tracks were later re-released on 2000’s Slaves Going Single.
