The Road Behind

Released in 1992, The Road Behind doubles as a single for the titular song and GWAR’s first EP. It also features two new studio tracks and three live tracks that were recorded at La Brique Concert Hall in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on July 1, 1992 (Canada Day).

In 1994, The Road Behind was reprinted with an additional seventh track, the Grammy-nominated “S.F.W.”, to capitalize on GWAR’s MTV exposure. Some of the reprinted copies, however, feature 2:17 of silence instead for an unknown reason.
