My Little Pony (TV series)

My Little Pony was the original animated television series, produced in the US by Sunbow Productions
and Marvel Productions, for Hasbro’s popular line of colourful toy equines. This series ran for two seasons from 1984 to 1987 (the series also ran in syndication) with each episode lasting 10 minutes. The episodes were part of a larger series called My Little Pony ‘n Friends which featured other Hasbro properties such as the Moondreamers and Potato Head Kids.

Two more animated series have been produced based on the franchise: My Little Pony Tales and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

The series featured multiple original songs which the lyrics for are provided here. There was no official sountrack release for the series.
