“The Fame Monster (Deluxe Version)” was released by Lady Gaga on the same day as the standard version of the album. The Deluxe included her previous album “The Fame” as a bonus disc. Lady Gaga has described “The Fame Monster” and “The Fame” 2 sets that complete each other, one being the yin to the other’s yang.

According to Billboard, as of February 10, 2019, The Fame Monster has sold a total of 1.6 million copies in the United States.
