Heart Of The Summer is Lona.’s fourth official full-length mixtape. It was announced on July 5, 2020. The album finds Lona experimenting with new sounds as well as bringing back sounds that he’s been known for in the past. The album is meant to be a high energy summer soundtrack with something for everyone. It follows a theme of the 4 seasons. The songs on his 4th full length effort all fall into 4 categories according to Lona: The Hipster/Hippie, The Heart, The Hooligan, & The Huncho.

This album features production by the likes Dion Crysis, Alvynne, BROADDAY, and CEDES.

The album was created over the span of the quarantine of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The title serves as a metaphor for Lona’s essence who was born in the summer time.
