Madlib Medicine Show: Pill Jar Tracklist
Madlib Medicine Show: Pill Jar is a compilation of various tracks pulled from the Madlib Medicine Show, a thirteen-album series of self-produced albums and mixtapes released within the span of 2010 to 2012 that showcases Madlib’s varied DJ and production skills
The Pill Jar mix was originally arranged during Madlib’s 2013 Asia tour and contains instrumental tracks along with tracks featuring guest appearances by artists such as MF DOOM, J Dilla and Guilty Simpson.
The original eight track collection was released digitally for free on Rappcats, however, since then, it has been expanded upon to the twenty tracks present today on the vinyl version.
A limited number of exclusive white vinyl versions of the LP were sold by Urban Outfitters alongside the standard limited black vinyl versions.
The LP only contains tracks from the self-produced albums of the Madlib Medicine Show series, and doesn’t provide any exclusive tracks. Three of the tracks listed have been renamed from their original title from their corresponding album.
