Everybody Eats

MFnMelo

About “Everybody Eats”

The purpose of the second studio album by the Chicago-based rapper MfnMelo, is told by the artist himself on the brief message that is included on the cover art:

Everybody Eats is an album about finding that balance in life. With so many different people and things tugging at you, how can you possibly take care of yourself? And while serving your self, it’s also very easy to forget the ones around you. Came to a point where I had to do what needed to be done, so that the want from within and around me was fed. This album is a journey through some of these emotions."

Through the tracks of the project, MFnMelo is joined by his Pivot Gang peers Saba and Frsh Waters, as well as many fellow artists from Chicago and surroundings, such as the rappers Qari and Mick Jenkins and the Neo Soul artists Akenya and Adam Ness. Production contributions come from Monte Booker, who has produced the lead singles “Flow Seats” and “What A Life,” as well as daedaePIVOT and Daoud (who worked on Saba’s CARE FOR ME), Vzn (producer of the supergroup Ghetto Sage’s debut single “Haagen Dazs”), among others.
