This is the Soundtrack for Taurus, a Colson Baker film originally known as Good News, and directed by Tim Sutton.

Taurus is about how a rising but troubled musician searches for the inspiration to record his next song, pushing himself deep into the void. A work of fiction that explores fame, addiction, the artistic process, and the music industry.

It was shown in two sessions before its official release. The first was on February 13, 2022 at the Berlin Film Festival, and the second was on June 9 of the same year, at the Bacon Theater, at the Tribeca Film Festival, in New York; during that, the film was acquired by RLJE Films on May 16 for a US theatrical release, which was on November 18, 2022.

This soundtrack is made up of 8 songs, among which are 4 original songs by Machine Gun Kelly, of which 2 of them debuted in the film, “Taurus” and “War” and the other two had already been released previously, in addition to another 4 songs chosen by Colson Baker and Tim Sutton for this film.
