January is the first EP released by Muhsinah in 2016. It was self-released on January 15, 2016 by Muhsinah Unlimited.

Muhsinah explained to Essence that she was in a “creative rut” in 2015 and a friend told her she needed a goal with her music. Muhsinah came up with the idea to release an EP for every month in 2016.
