Spellbound

Spellbound is the second studio album by Paula Abdul, released on May 14, 1991 via Virgin Records. The album was a success, peaking at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the second album of Abdul’s to do so following her 1988 debut Forever Your Girl.

A total of five singles were released from the album: “Rush Rush”, “The Promise of a New Day”, “Blowing Kisses in the Wind”, “Vibeology” and “Will You Marry Me?”. All five singles peaked within the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with “Rush Rush” and “The Promise of a New Day” reaching the top spot.
