Electric Coolaid - Acid Testing

Proof

About “Electric Coolaid - Acid Testing”

Proof’s Electric Coolaid Acid Testing EP first released on December 17th 2002 and the first solo project released by Proof and the first non-single under Iron Fist Records.

A full length LP of Electric Coolaid Acid Testing was teased by Proof for early 2003 but for unknown reasons this project was scrapped in exchange for I Miss The Hip Hop Shop.

The EP’s only single was One, Two ft. MC Breed, later renamed to Ali for Muhammad Ali which later made it to the Proof’s 2nd Studio Album Searching For Jerry Garcia Source. Derty Harry and Broken would later be added to Proof’s 1st Studio Album I Miss The Hip Hop Shop and Derty Promo would later be used in D12’s 2003 Limited Edition Mixtape.

The EP is produced by 3 producers, House Shoes, Cyzer Soset, and Essman, all of whom later produce songs after this EP for Proof.

A snippet tape for the EP released before its release and contains tracks not present in the EP.
