Ignorance Is Bliss Tracklist
Ignorance Is Bliss is Skepta’s fifth studio album and the follow-up to his May 2016 release, Konnichiwa. Released on May 31, 2019, the project boasts features from fellow UK rappers J Hus, Lancey Foux, and Nafe Smallz, as well as grime collective Boy Better Know, among others.
Skepta originally announced the album’s title as SkLEVEL in a since-deleted Instagram post made on November 9, 2018. He would then take to Instagram once more on April 14, 2019, to announce that he had changed the title and provided reasoning for it:
Changed my album title cos #SkLEVEL is a 2018 pattern. New year, new name.
Four days later, Skepta revealed the project’s new title, Ignorance Is Bliss, alongside its cover art shot and designed by Manu Pillai and a release date of May 31, 2019.
On May 9, 2019, “Bullet from a Gun” and “Greaze Mode” with Nafe Smallz were released as the album’s lead promotional singles. Their accompanying music videos would be released on May 26 and May 30 respectively.
