Behind Bars is the third studio album by Slick Rick, released on November 22, 1994, on Def Jam Recordings. It was recorded (1993-1994) and released while Rick was still incarcerated, hence the title “Behind Bars”.

It received moderate chart success, peaking at number 51 on the Billboard 200, and number 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
