Snoop Dogg’s fifth album, Tha Last Meal, was released on December 19, 2000 through No Limit Records and Doggystyle Records, and it was Snoop’s third and final album on No Limit, marking the last time another label would eat off of him before establishing his own label, Doggystyle Records. The album debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 and it achieved double platinum status with support from the singles “Snoop Dogg (What’s My Name Pt. 2),” “Lay Low,” “Wrong Idea” with Bad Azz, and “Loosen Control.”
