Played In Space: The Best Of Something Corporate

As indicated by the subtitle, Played in Space is a two-disc offering of the best of Something Corporate’s songs, including remixes and studio recordings of songs never released in the US, including cult favorite Konstantine. (Although a live version of the last was released on the band’s first album, Ready…Break, a studio version was never included on a US album). Tracks 1-14 comprise Disc 1 and are generally the more well-known songs, while Disc 2 (Tracks 15-20 here) are new mixes and hard-to-find tracks.

The album title comes from the fact that Something Corporate’s “The Astronaut” was played by NASA scientists to wake up the space shuttle Discovery crew in 2006.
