Hip Hop 50, Vol. 2

Mass Appeal records recruits Swizz Beatz for the second volume of their Hip Hop 50 EP soundtrack series. Following up Volume 1 by DJ Premier, released in July of 2022, the second volume, along with its initial tracklist and April 21 release date, was revealed on April 11th, 2023. Three days prior to the release, Swizz updated the tracklist to include an outro featuring Jay Electronica.

The “East Coast” EP features an eye-catching group of featured artists. Hip-Hop GOAT favorite Nas and cultural icon Lil Wayne return from the first EP, after delivering memorable performances on “Beat Breaks” and “The Root of All”. Also providing features are newer-age artists such as A boogie wit da hoodie and Lil Durk, along with New York and D-Block legend Jadakiss.
