Rappa Ternt Sanga: Tha Mixtape

T-Pain released the Rappa Ternt Sanga mixtape locally in Tallahassee to promote his then upcoming debut album of the same name. This mixtape is believed to have been recorded from 2003, when the group Nappy Headz was breaking up, until mid 2005, after T-Pain got signed and released “I’m Sprung.”

The most significant song on the project was “I’m Fucked Up”, T-Pain’s remix to Akon’s hit “Locked Up,” that got him attention and led him to get signed to Konvict Musik in 2004 at 19 years of age.
