About “Pressure”

“Pressure” is UK producer The Bug’s second album, released April 2003 on Tigerbeat6, Rephlex and Klein record labels. It is regarded as one of the best Ragga albums of all time, praised for its experimentation in electronic and dancehall music.

The album features guest vocals from several artists including Daddy Freddy, Toastie Taylor, Roger Robinson, Paul St. Hilaire, Singing Bird, Wayne Lonesome and He-Man.

Track 11 features Illbient producer The Rootsman, who previously collaborated with The Bug on his 2003 self-titled split EP, featuring the Pressure bonus cut, “Imitator.”
